Dear Parents,

Welcome back for another season of Kearsley baseball and softball. Our season begins June 6^th this year. Here are some dates and additional information you will need to make this another successful year:

• Saturday, May 7^th: The Kearsley Varsity Baseball team is hosting a baseball clinic at the Varsity baseball field from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost is $10 per player for ages 7 to 15. If you would like to register for this clinic, you can do so by contacting Coach Phipps at (810) 591-5365 or by emailing him at tphipps@kearsleyschools.org.

• Monday, June 13^th – Wednesday, June 15^th: Individual and Team pictures will be taken behind the tennis courts. Coaches will have times and picture forms available the week before the pictures are scheduled.

• Monday, July 11^th: Our annual picnic and awards will be held on field K2 with our very own deejay, Fernando Amaya, owner of Rock Steady DJ Service. Times are available on your schedules.

• Personalized decals are available online at www.KearsleyBaseballLeague.com. The 4” decals are $7.00 and the 6” decals are $10.00.

• If you have already ordered a decal this season or maybe ordered a decal last season and forgot to pick it up, you can do so by visiting our concession stands. Decals for the Midgets, Stingers, Hornets and Majors divisions will be at the concession stand located between K2 and K3. Decals for all other divisions will be at the concession located behind P2.

• We would like to remind everyone our policy regarding inclement weather. Often the weather looks questionable during the early hours of the day or the weather forecast will predict rain. However, living in Michigan, we know how the weather can change during the course of the day or how often the forecasts are incorrect. If at any time you are unsure whether a game is being played or has been cancelled, you can call our hotline number or visit our website. If cancellations are not posted at either of these locations, games have not yet been cancelled. Games cancelled at game time or after will not be announced on the hotline or the website as coaches and players will be notified at the fields.
